The STET-man

Well, this summer has been super crazy, and most of my posts have been dedicated to this "big scare" or that "big event", so I have decided to do a post dedicated to the one and only STET-man. I love this little guy more than I ever thought I could love anyone. Even when he does something that makes me really mad, I still just want to squeeze him and kiss those chubby little cheeks. I am so grateful for the opportunity to be his mother.Driving the tractor with dad
This day they were cutting alfalfa (you should hear Stetson say that!)Getting ready to go up north with daddy
-notice the super cute backpack-
Stetson was helping me pick tomatoes and carry them into the house, but he didn't quite make it up the steps. When he fell, he landed right on the tomatoes he was carrying. You can tell he wasn't too happy about it splattering him in the face! What is better than ICE CREAM at the county fair? Stetson didn't like the cone, so he reached as far as he could with his little tongue to get all the ice cream out. Needless to say, most of it ended up on his jacket.HOMEMADE ice cream at Grandma's. Our new Sunday tradition at my parents' house is homemade ice cream - YUM! Stetson LOVES his cousin J.D. When these two get together, they can get into trouble faster than you can imagine. On this day they found a nice mud hole, removed their shirts, and just did what boys do!Hi Tech Kid - working at the computer! They had this cute little vehicle set up at the fair, and it was all we could do to keep Stetson out of it! Another thing Stetson LOVES to do is DRIVE!The fearsome twosome on their way to pick up uncle Jordan. I can't believe we let these two sit together. . . but they were buckled in. . . Stetson likes to ride on daddy's shoulders. He grabs on to Kenny's ears, and it looks like he is trying to steer him!Is that mischievous or what?
Stetson fell and cut his lip; he had a fat lip for a couple days. Even though it was sad, he looked super cute!
STET-man updates:

1. Stetson LOVES to talk and sing. He tries to repeat everything we say, and he actually does a pretty good job! I was driving to Cortez to pick up Kenny the other day, and he sang songs almost the whole way! His favorites include "Insy Weensy Spider", "Twinkle Little Star", "The Moose", "This Little Piggy", and "Patty-cake". The best part is that he not only knows the words, but he also know the actions - it is sooo cute!

2. Stetson has learned a new trick - he can take ALL his clothes off (including his diaper). He usually goes back behind a couch, bush, or the bleachers to take them off, but then doesn't seem to mind running around completely naked - even in front of 14 teenage girls! The drill team girls had a very educational practice the morning he did that - sorry girls!

3. For a little guy, Stetson is very neat and orderly. He loves to line his toys up or organize them into piles. He also loves to build towers and knock them down. One day he spent almost an hour dumping a little plastic container of pencil lead out, then putting the lead back in, one by one - over and over again! He has very good fine motor skills.

4. Stetson has a very tender heart, and seems to know when someone is sad or hurt. He gives the best hugs and kisses. His new kissing style - French kissing! No, it's not what you think. . . you know how the French people kiss each other on each cheek when they greet each other? Well, that is what he does (super cute!), and since Alisha used to call it French kissing, I decided I could too! Thanks Lish!
