'Twas the night before our Easter picnic, and all through the house. . .
| the kids were stuffing candy in plastic eggs, quiet as a mouse. |
Then Lucy came in, she caused quite a stir. . .
| unloading the eggs and stuffing her mouth! |
Our picnic with the Grover family brought lots of good cheer,
| What fun it is to play in the dirt out here! |
| Say What??? |
What is a picnic without food?
| I don't know, I've never been to one!! |
The food was delicious!
| Even my picky eaters found something to eat! |
The best part of all is the Easter Egg hunt!
| The girls stayed close by, looking for eggs |
| The boys spread out, and filled their baskets quick! |
| Lucy Mae, showing off an egg that she found |
| Counting their spoils and comparing the loot |
Have you ever rolled Easter Eggs down a hill?
Me either, but it sure was fun!!!
| Lucy unloaded them and sent them down the trail as fast as she could |
So what do you do with the smashed up eggs that have traveled down a hill one too many times?
| You shoot them, of course!!! |
Daddy was working, so he missed some of the fun, but we were all glad that he made it out just in time for dessert!
| Lydia was just happy we remembered to bring these two fingers along |
| Daddy and Lydia |
| Aspen and Stetson |
| Jesse and Lucy |
| The Grover family grandkids |
| Some of the Grover family kids |
| Just the girls |
When we went to leave, we found Lucy in the truck like this . . . we must have worn her completely out! |
| Lydia had fun, but sure was happy to be home! |
And sometime that night . . .
| the Easter Bunny came! He left a trail of eggs . . . |
| . . . ending in lots of treats and games! |
And from mom and dad . . .
| New church attire for Easter!!! |
| Mom and the girls all dressed up for Easter Sunday |
| Like father, like son :) |
Man, I love these guys!!!
| Happy Easter Everyone!!! |
